Hi, I’m Rei, a Japanese male massage therapist based in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo. As a Male Massage Masotera Tokyo therapist, I specialize in Thai oil massage, deep tissue, traditional Thai, and holistic bodywork tailored exclusively for men.
Massage Training & Certification
My journey began in 2013 at the prestigious Wat Pho Thai Traditional Medical School in Bangkok, where I fell in love with the wellness field and mastered authentic Thai massage. Over the years, I enhanced my skills by training in India, Thailand, and Indonesia.
I’m also a certified yoga teacher (RYT200) and train in strength and mobility five times a week, making me deeply knowledgeable about human anatomy and muscle function.
Backpacker Roots & Nomadic Lifestyle
In my twenties, I traveled as a backpacker throughout Latin America and Asia.
I’ve always preferred learning by experience, whether it’s sampling local healing techniques or immersing myself in culture.
It was on one of these adventures that I first discovered the art of Thai massage.
In my thirties, I spent a year living in Spain and embraced a nomadic lifestyle for six years, living primarily in hotels across Europe and Asia. This period broadened my perspective on holistic wellness and refined my ability to adapt techniques to diverse client needs.
