What to Expect | A Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners
Here is a brief description of the session day process for massage beginners.
The male massage therapist from Masotera Tokyo will arrive about 5 minutes before starting your massage session.
Please take off your clothes while the massage therapist is changing his clothes.
You could be fully naked, or wear disposable underwear.
The treatment is performed on your bed or futon.
Please prepare your own towels if you need them to cover your body or for the bed. We provide massage oil, but we do not bring a massage table. If you would like to rent towels, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Large towel: ¥2,000, small towel: ¥1,000.
Please lie on your stomach first.
We provide the massage service of your choice.
Masotera Tokyo Signature Thai Oil Massage is highly recommended.
After the massage session, please put on your clothes while the massage therapist is changing his clothes.
The oil used for the treatment is sweet almond oil, which is highly moisturizing, with medical-grade lavender essential oil imported from France.
It is not greasy, so you don’t need to shower after the session.
Please hydrate well after the massage session.

FAQs
Will you come with a massage table for a mobile massage?
We don’t come with a massage table for a mobile massage. Our treatment is based on Thai Massage, which is traditionally practiced on a bed or the floor, so we provide it on a bed or the floor in your home or hotel. If the client owns a massage table, it is also possible to provide the treatment on the massage table.
Do I need to prepare anything for a mobile massage?
Nothing in particular is required. Please prepare your own towels if you need them to cover your body or for the bed. We provide massage oil, but we do not bring a massage table. If you would like to rent towels, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Large towel: ¥2,000, small towel: ¥1,000.
Which areas do you cover for outcall service?
We generally cover locations within the JR Yamanote Line loop. If your venue is within approximately a 30-minute travel time from Ebisu Station, we can provide service at our standard outcall surcharge rate. For areas outside this zone, we may need to decline service or charge an additional fee, so please contact us for details.
Can you provide outcall service to a hotel in Haneda Airport?
Yes, that’s possible. However, a ¥3000 surcharge will apply in addition to the standard mobile surcharge.
Can you provide outcall service to a hotel near Narita Airport?
As the round-trip travel time is roughly 4 hours, we generally do not accept requests for Narita Airport–area bookings. If we make an exception, an outcall surcharge of approximately ¥40000 will apply.
Can you provide outcall service to the Yokosuka area?
As the round-trip travel time is roughly 3 hours, we generally do not accept requests for Yokosuka–area bookings. If we make an exception, an outcall surcharge of approximately ¥20000 will apply.
Can you provide outcall service to the Yokohama area?
Yes, that’s possible. However, in addition to the standard mobile surcharge, a travel fee of ¥3000–¥5000 will apply, varying based on which part of Yokohama you’re in and how far the location is from the nearest station.
Do you offer outcalls overseas?
Yes, we can travel internationally, but travel expenses (flights, accommodation, etc.) will apply. Please let us know your budget, and we’ll confirm whether we can accommodate your request.
